awesome They are quick, adorable, and I ve always liked the characters While The Nurse s Christmas Wish by Sarah Morgan isn t my favorite, it was still a great way to spend a few hours. The Nurse s short staffed, so Mac s brother who is also a doctor in the ER asks his friend Louisa to move to the area and help out for awhile Mac s brother also invites Louisa to stay in his and Mac s home for the time she s helping out Mac is quite surprised and not too happy about.Louisa is utterly charming She s a fantastic nurse, and she s also totally obsessed with Christmas And she s so happy to not be spending Christmas alone this year she doesn t have any family But Mac isn t really into Christmas, and he s also not interested in getting involved with Louisa Too bad he s totally attracted to her.I did so love Mac and Louisa together, even when Mac was being stubborn But luckily they work things out and I was so happy about that However, I did have some issues with the book Mainly I didn t like how Louisa wanted to make Mac s life better from the moment she meant him It was very unrealistic not that I read category romance for realism but I also found it a bit presumptuous of Louisa Who is she to say his life isn t okay I will admit that I usually don t like plots like that to begin with And Mac did have some issues, but the whole idea of her just meeting him and deciding she would make his life better was a little odd However, I think that s the kind of thing we see in category romance. But, even if with my issues, I did absolutely enjoy The Nurse s Christmas Wish It s not my favorite, but it was completely satisfying If you want a quick, holiday read, going for The Nurse s Christmas Wish isn t a bad choice. This review was originally posted on Quinn s Book Nook DNF at 54%I normally love this author, but I could not finish this I did not like the heroine at all She had zero respect for the hero s boundaries And it s painted as all being OK because her intentions are good and she s just so sweet she can t help herself When you re a guest in somebody else s home, you don t take over everything, and you don t invite strangers to his home for Christmas dinner without even asking him And it wasn t just one incident either Even after he told her to stop DNF at 54%I normally love this author, but I could not finish this I did not like the heroine at all She had zero enjoy in a book. This might not bother everyone, but it s something that bothered me too much to finish reading this
